In 2016, Linda moved from Venezuela to the U.S., facing challenges of language, culture, and work. After getting political asylum, she understood the struggles immigrants go through. Linda, with a degree in Public Accounting, specialized in pharmaceuticals for 13 years. Studying at Edmonds College in Washington helped her adapt, leading her to work there as a Programs Specialist II in the Financial Aid Department. Linda’s mission at House of Wisdom is offering free English classes for community empowerment. She believes in personalized education, teaching students to think, discover abilities, and encourage creativity for a future-focused learning approach.
