The House of Wisdom is committed to assisting refugees, immigrants, and all community members to build the skills to find immediate and advanced employment. For many refugees and immigrants, finding work can be difficult in the United States, especially for those who are not fluent in English. Having a solid community base and connection with local and global businesses and companies allows us to bridge a gap between employers that are hiring and those who are looking to join the workforce for competitive paying employment.
In addition, our highly-skilled volunteers help connect our clients with free resume-building, job search, and translation resources available in the community.
